             abstract = "Replacing the cover and land use for sugarcane cultivation causes 
                         changes in physical, chemical and biological interactions in the 
                         environment that need to be understood by all. In this sense, an 
                         institutions of excellence has sought to understand these changes 
                         and disseminate information obtained through scientific work, 
                         information from banks and products for different segments of 
                         society. However, these data are not very much diffused and 
                         exploited educationally, are poorly addressed in the classroom and 
                         very succinctly in didactic books. This evidence the need for more 
                         information and materials to assist in understanding the 
                         interference of sugarcane in the environment as well as subsidize 
                         syllabus and the exercise of citizenship. In this context, the 
                         construction of an atlas with instruments of scientific and 
                         technical means has been proposed as the information technologies, 
                         electronic games and, in particular, that make up a group called 
                         geotechnology. In this article, is presented practical directions 
                         suggested for the construction of GIS-WEB specific to the purposes 
                         of the Atlas and the insertion and constant updating (automatic) 
                         database, provided by INPE, Atlas. It is expected, therefore, to 
                         show how this expedient can help to understand and explain the 
                         reality, complexity and dynamism of updated and contextualized 
                         way, an important feature in the educational context.",
